Parent-Daughter Weekend: May 2-4, 2025

The 2025 Parent-Daughter Weekend is fully booked! Waitlist registration is still open.

Each spring, Camp Juliette Low hosts a special weekend for girls, ages 6 to 15, and their parents to experience all the excitement of camp compressed into two fun-filled days!

This weekend is a chance for…

  • New or prospective campers (ages 6 to 15) to become more comfortable with living outdoors
  • Returning campers to bring a friend to “try out” camp
  • Parents to learn more about CJL and to share in the fun!

Registration and Forms

How to register: Go to the CampInTouch Parent-Daughter Application to register up to 4 family members on 1 application. Full payment of $125 per person is due at the time of registration.

Who can attend: One parent/guardian may attend per camper. If you are bringing two daughters, two adult family members/guardians may attend to make a tent of four. (Dads are welcome, but no brothers, please.)

Parent-Daughter Weekend Packing List

Parent-Daughter Weekend Information Packet: The information packet provides detailed information about arrival, check-in, accommodations, rules and the daily schedule.

About Parent-Daughter Weekend

Activities: During Parent-Daughter Weekend, campers and parents participate in four classes (canoeing, archery, crafts, and the climbing wall) and many camp activities including games, singing, campfires, and (weather permitting) playing in the swimming hole at the river. Parents are given the chance to enjoy classes and camp activities with their daughters, as well as meet with the directors and some of the summer staff.

Meals: Camp will provide three yummy meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Meals are handled just as they are during the summer: the kitchen staff prepares the food, and the campers (girls and moms and dads) supply the clean-up power.

Special diets: Given adequate notice, we can accommodate campers who are vegetarian and have moderate food allergies and sensitivities. Please notify the camp of any special dietary needs as soon as possible but no later than one month prior to your arrival at camp. Gluten free diets will incur a $10 fee per person to defray the costs of preparing special meals. The fee will be added after your application is received, and you will be notified at that time. If you have any questions, please contact the camp office.

Tent-living and tentmate requests: At CJL, campers sleep in sturdy, 4-person platform tents. The camp is divided into four units, each consisting of seven camper tents and one counselors' tent. Each girl and her parent (mom, dad, or other guardian) will sleep together in a tent with two other assigned tent mates. If you are bringing two daughters, both parents/guardians may attend to make a tent of four. If you need to register more than four family members, please call the camp office so that we can make accommodations. You may also request another parent-camper pair to be either your tentmates or within the same unit.

Cost: $125.00 per person. Includes 4 meals, snacks, craft supplies, classes, and staffing costs. Full payment is due at the time of registration.

Refunds: After registering for Parent-Daughter Weekend, if you find you can not attend, a full refund will be given before April 1. After April 1, refunds are given only if your spot is filled, so please let us know as soon as possible. We normally have a wait-list of families who are ready to attend at the last minute!
