Early Bird Discount

Be an Early Bird! Register by December 1 to lock in the Early Bird rate. In addition, Early Birds will receive a free Early Bird T-Shirt at check-in. These limited edition T-Shirts are different each year and are not for sale at the CJL Trading Post. But that’s not all! Every Early Bird will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a free week of camp! Board and Camp Committee families and previous winners are not eligible for this drawing.

Sibling Discount

A 10% discount will be applied to the fee of a second camper from the same family. This discount is for one session only. The discount will be added by CJL's business manager after the applications are submitted.

Referral Bonus

You will receive a $50 discount for every first-time camper that you refer to CJL. This offer is unlimited! To receive the discount, the first-time camper must write the name of the referring parent or camper in the appropriate blank on her camper application. The first-time camper can split the $50 referral bonus between two people ($25 each) by writing two names on her application.

David Laney Scholarship Fund

The David Laney Scholarship Fund, established in 2008, began awarding scholarships to eligible CJL campers in 2015. Since then, many young women have received scholarships to spend a week or two sleeping in tents, making new friends, and growing in confidence in the beautiful, natural setting of CJL.

Scholarship Award

Scholarships consist of a partial payment of camp fees in the amount of $500. Scholarship awards cover only a portion of required camp fees and DO NOT include Trading Post money (recommended $50 per week) or the registration deposit of $150.

Eligibility

Girls between the ages of 8 and 17 with financial need are eligible for scholarship consideration. Children and grandchildren of current Trustees, year-round employees, or executive employees of Camp Juliette Low are not eligible to receive a scholarship.

How to Apply

1. A Camp Juliette Low Scholarship Application should be completed and signed by the camper’s parent/guardian, and either emailed to info@cjl.org or mailed to CJL’s winter office no later than January 15. Incomplete applications may not be considered for scholarship awards. Scholarship applications may be accepted after the deadline if scholarship awards remain available.

2.A regular Summer Camp Application must be submitted online at the time of application. Scholarship applicants for the Counselor-in-Training program must also fill out a CIT Application. Go to the Forms & Applications page under the “For Parents” tab for the links.

3. The $150 registration deposit must accompany the application. In cases where the applicant does not receive or cannot use a scholarship, this deposit is fully refundable.

4. Applicants will be notified whether their campers have been awarded scholarships by early February.
