Camp's annual Alumnae Reunion is a time when old (oops: "former") campers, friends of CJL, and their families gather at CJL for a few days of camp activities, visits with camp friends, meals of camp food, and enjoyment of the camp experience. For many attendees, this is the only time during the year that they get to see certain friends or this beautiful place.
Each Reunion is chaired by volunteer alumnae who plan afternoon and evening activities for those in attendance. Classes in the style of those held during camp are run Saturday morning, giving everyone a chance to enjoy archery, canoeing, Project Adventure, and horseback. Special events like water hikes are scheduled from time to time.
After lunch on Saturday, the Alumnae Association meets to discuss its business and get briefed on the goings-on of the camp. Alumnae are encouraged to appear at this meeting with their ideas on how to improve this wonderful camp. If you like the Reunion, consider volunteering to chair the next one!
Alumnae Reunion is held each year just before camp opens; check the Alumnae section for the dates of the next Reunion. Send your completed form to the office to sign up, or contact CJL for more information.
Can't make it? You might consider coming for Work Weekend instead.
