Site Underbelly

Pseudo Legalese

Copying
Everything on cjl.org is copyrighted by Camp Juliette Low or by the material's author or originator. None of it may be used, printed, or redistributed in any form without permission. Permission is hereby granted to print, distribute, and/or transmit application forms for the purposes of applying to or for the events or positions they describe and to do whatever you want with the packing list. You're also welcome to take for personal use any photo in which you or your child may appear.

Logging and Access
All accesses are logged. Unauthorized access is prohibited. Authorized access includes following any public link on www.cjl.org and reading any material thus discovered. Unauthorized access includes but is not limited to: attempting to gain access to restricted or non-public portions of the website; port-scanning the web server; using information found on the site for spam campaigns; and attempting to modify information on the web server.

Accuracy
All material is provided as best-guess or last-known-state only. All information is subject to change without notice. Camp Juliette Low is not responsible for incorrect information, nor for any problems that incorrect information may cause you or anyone else. If the information is about to affect your life, contact CJL to make sure it's right.

Upshot
That said, the goal is to prevent folks copying the wording and photos used here or holding CJL to some sidebar long forgotten and now obsolete. Don't do those things. See the contact page for ways of getting in touch should you want to confirm something or get permission to use our stuff. We're friendly; it's world's current attitude that makes pages like this necessary.

Technical Stuff

This site was developed on a linux box with the GIMP and fifteen xterms full of vi (elvis, actually). Browser testing was conducted with Firefox and Opera primarily, others only for compatibility. This site is perfectly readable with lynx, links, w3m, and other text-mode browsers.

Currently, the site is running on a home-grown Slackware linux box using Apache web server software. Support open source software. Open source software is Good.
