Thinking about coming to camp? Here’s what you need to know...
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. We’re happy to help.
CJL runs one-week and two-week sessions throughout the summer. Girls of all ages (7-17) are welcome at all sessions except for Gypsy Week, which is limited to ages 7-10, and 5th Session which is limited to ages 10-15. See Summer Dates & Fees for the schedule and other details.
Some of the sessions fill up quickly, so the earlier you get your application in, the better your chances of getting the dates you want.
To register for a summer session at CJL, go to the Forms and Applications page under the “For Parents” tab to find the link to our online registration via Bunk 1. You will be prompted to log in or create a free Bunk 1 account. Once you’ve logged in to Bunk1, click on the “Applications” tab at the top of the page to find links to all of CJL’s online applications.
Upon receipt of your deposit, a confirmation email with a link to CJL’s Parent Information Packet will be sent to you, including packing instructions, mandatory medical forms, and directions to camp.
Click HERE to find a link to a printable Packing List and packing tips. Basically, assemble what you think you’ll need for your stay at camp, pack it all in a plastic footlocker, and bring it up the mountain!
When the time comes, join us at camp! Click HERE for travel information and directions.
On opening day, plan to arrive at CJL between 9:00am and 11:00am Central Time (that's 10am-12pm Eastern Time) so that you can complete check-in and get your daughter settled into her tent by 12pm.
On closing day, pick up is between 9:00am and 12:00pm Central Time (that's 10am and 1pm Eastern Time).
Several things must be done on opening day: each camper’s gear must be transported to her tent; the camper and parents must sign in; arrangements for the camper’s stay must be made with the camp Trading Post; each camper must visit the nurse. Don’t worry about all that now, though: our staff will walk you through it when you arrive.
Parents should pick up their campers between 9:00am and noon Central Time (that’s 10:00am and 1:00pm Eastern Time) on the last day of the session. Parents must fill out a pick-up permission form if they want their camper to be allowed to leave with someone other than the parent who dropped her off.
Campers who wish to fly in (some CJL campers come from as far away as Germany!) should contact the office to make arrangements.
We hope you’ll join us!
