CJL’s annual Alumnae Reunion is a time when old (oops: “former”) campers, friends of the camp, and their families gather at CJL for a few days of summer camp fun and reminiscing. Visit with camp friends, sleep in a tent, eat in the dining hall (make a CJL Special!), go to classes, sing around the campfire, and relive your CJL days!
Alumnae Reunion takes place the weekend right before 1st Session begins. Most people come for the whole weekend (Friday evening through Sunday morning), but you are also welcome to come up for just the day on Saturday and enjoy classes and meals in the dining hall. The cost is just $20 per alumna/family, plus meals. This $20 non-refundable registration fee acts as your Alumnae Association dues, and should be paid by each CJL alumna.
Each Reunion is chaired by volunteer alumnae who plan afternoon and evening activities for those in attendance. Classes are run Saturday morning, giving everyone a chance to enjoy archery, canoeing, climbing wall, camp crafts, and horseback (pony rides). Special events like water hikes, zip line, and hay rides are also scheduled from time to time.
After lunch on Saturday, the Alumnae Association meets to discuss its business and get briefed on the goings-on of the camp. All alumnae are welcome to attend and are encouraged to bring their ideas on how to improve this wonderful camp. If you like the Reunion, consider volunteering to chair the next one!
The next Reunion will be June 2-4, 2017.
To reserve your tent and meals and make your payment online, simply follow the link, below, to create your free Bunk 1 account, then click on the “Applications” tab at the top of the page and select the “Alumnae Reunion Weekend” application from the drop-down menu. Once you’ve completed your application, you will be automatically directed to a payment page, and a confirmation email will be sent to you.

The cost is $20 per alumna (your CJL Alumnae Association dues– this fee is non-refundable, not tax-deductible, and is due at the time of registration) PLUS the cost of meals for every person in your group. EVERY camper on your application should be registered for EACH meal they will attend so that we can reserve a spot for you in the dining hall.
The reunion registration form will be available at the end of April, after the spring CaJuLo has been mailed. Register early– space is limited!
